It's just like it sounds - oh so buttery and yummy and soft! It's a knit that doesn't fray and is sew easy and sew comfortable. It drapes beautifully but also interfaces nicely with fusible knit interfacing for more structured jackets. It would make a wonderful skirt (#412 6-gore super skirt)
