Story

He waited all day to catch a glimpse of her. She usually sat across from him at the art class they both attended, her bespectacled eyes glued to her canvas at all times. On the rare occasion, she turned to talk to a neighbour but never for longer than a few moments. Sometimes, he wondered what her voice sounded like.

Theyd been introduced on the first day of the class, but hed been too shy to blurt out any more than a quick hello before fading into the woodwork. And now, the rumour was that she was quitting the class and there was a fair chance hed never see her again. So, he mustered up every modicum of courage in his body to approach her as she collected her brushes. But, history has a strange way of repeating himself and he found himself tongue-tied, once again.

The past two years have been difficult for our weavers, who had to contend with cancelled orders and dead stock. To support them, we purchased the fabric and used it to fashion beautiful blouses. And so, unlike our other collections, these fabrics are not our original designs. But each garment has been made with a whole lot of love.
